The Village of Corona is a small rural community located in Lincoln County, New Mexico. The village is a rural/ranching community and is positioned 34 miles south of Vaughn and 47 miles north of Carrizozo on U.S. Highway 54. The Village's current population is 165 according to the 2000 census.

The Village of Corona exists to provide services to the citizens of Corona.  The primary services provided are water, natural gas, solid waste, and wastewater.  As a community steward, the Village of Corona responds to many other types of requests for service even those which many times do not necessarily fit a municipal service organization profile.
